Microsoft Workers 4 Good, a group of Microsoft workers, is campaigning for their employer to cancel a $479m HoloLens military contract with US Army.

The group believes that HoloLens is developed for non-harmful means, including helping architects and engineers design buildings and cars, teaching complex surgery, and even to push the boundaries of gaming. Not to help people kill.

CEO of the Microsoft, Satya Nadella, responded to this campaign by saying “We made a principled decision that we’re not going to withhold technology from institutions that we have elected in democracies to protect the freedoms we enjoy”. At Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

Rumor posted on Reddit – which is now deleted – suggest that next generation Xbox will feature 1TB NVMe and DirectX Raytracing. And apparently verified ResetEra forums user, hmqgg, confirmed that this is true.

We have to take this with a grain of salt but leak also suggest that it will be officially revealed at GDC 2019, so we have to wait and see.

How to Turn Off Windows 10 Automatic Update

Even though Microsoft started offering users a option to delay automatic updates, it’s only limited to enterprise users and it’s still a “delay”.

But there is a way to “turn off” or “disable” Windows 10 update, no matter which version you’re using.

Here’s how:

First, open Network & Internet settings by right-clicking your Network Icon on the taskbar, or go to Settings – Network & Internet.

Then, click the “Change connection properties”.

Scroll down and turn on the “Metered connection”. This will disable your automatic Windows update and you will have to check update manually if you want update.
